At Tekst, we just raised $13.5M in Series A funding to rebuild Process Intelligence for the Agentic era. We're building the context layer that allows AI agents to work at scale on the back-office processes that actually matter. The Role

Tekst is hiring a Product Designer. You'll join a fast-growing AI platform that's already semi-designed — but far from mature — and you'll be the one who raises the bar: building a proper component-based design system, and levelling up both the visual language and the UX of a product our engineering team ships at a very high velocity.

You'll sit inside a small, fast-moving squad: 1 Product Manager and 4 engineers (1 of them frontend). That means tight feedback loops and real influence, what you design gets built fast, and you'll need to keep pace.

The first 90 days will be hands-on: getting into the existing product and Figma files, understanding what's there, and starting to raise the design bar on live features. After that, the role becomes more strategic, including thinking about how design itself can scale using AI, as the team and product keep growing.

What you'll be doing

  • Take an existing, semi-designed platform and build it out into a proper component-based design system in Figma.

  • Design both improvements to existing flows and 0-to-1 features for a data-heavy, enterprise-grade AI platform used by companies like Daikin, Nokia and Colruyt.

  • Work in a tight loop with 1 PM and 4 engineers (1 frontend); translate product requirements into clear, visual specs that Engineering can build from without repeated back-and-forth.

  • Conduct regular user research with enterprise customers (interviews, usability testing) and turn insights into concrete design decisions.

  • Prototype fast — using tools like Claude, Cursor or Lovable; to validate ideas with customers before full build-out.

  • After the first 90 days: help define how design scales alongside a high-velocity engineering team, including using AI to speed up your own design workflow.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of professional product design experience in B2B SaaS (required); enterprise SaaS experience is a strong plus.

  • Proven experience building or maturing a component-based design system — not just working within one.

  • Able to move between hands-on execution and strategic thinking — from shipping a feature this sprint to thinking about how design scales as the team grows.

  • Strong communication skills — you'll need to explain and defend design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Figma, and experience with user research tools (Dovetail, Amplitude, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools (Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or similar) is a strong plus — bonus if you've used AI to speed up design work itself, not just prototyping.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus.
