Paid AI Internship

  • On-site
    • Ghent, Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium
  • General

Job description

Tekst is building the AI platform that automates critical business processes for enterprises like Nokia, Becton Dickinson, and Mitsubishi. We practice what we preach and are a truly agentic company; one where AI doesn't just assist workflows but autonomously drives them end-to-end. To help us roll out this even further, we're looking for a sharp, ambitious intern to join us this summer and help turn early-stage strategic concepts into working prototypes and actionable plans.

This is not a "fetch coffee and update spreadsheets" internship. You'll work directly with the founding team on special projects that sit at the intersection of AI, product, and business strategy. Think: scoping new agentic capabilities, stress-testing ideas with real customer data, and building the internal tooling that makes Tekst itself run on AI.

What you'll be doing
As part of the founding team, you will be working closely with Engineering, Product, and Commercial to:

  • Take ownership of 4–6 high-impact special projects that push Tekst toward its agentic vision.

  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new concepts — whether that means writing code, building workflows, or structuring a business case.

  • Dive deep into our platform, our customers, and the enterprise AI landscape to find the highest-leverage opportunities.

  • Present your work and recommendations directly to leadership.

What's in it for you?

  • Competitive internship compensation.

  • A front-row seat to how agentic AI reshapes enterprise software.

  • Real, visible impact at one of Belgium's most exciting AI startups.

  • A genuine gateway into the company and the broader European AI ecosystem.

Job requirements

  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Technical enough to build — or learn to build — prototypes in tools like N8N, Clay, Claude Code, or Cursor.

  • Highly analytical with obsessive attention to detail — you catch what others miss.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you can take a vague brief and turn it into a structured plan.

  • Bias toward action: you'd rather ship something imperfect than plan something perfect

  • Strong written and verbal English skills.

  • Available to start ASAP for a duration of 2–4 months (flexible).
