Devops Engineer

Tekst is on the lookout for a rockstar Devops Engineer. At Tekst, our mission is to make AI work for the enterprise. As Devops Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in bringing our product to our customers. This role will net you a unique position in a successful enterprise-focused startup. What will you be doing?

  • Practical building: be pragmatic and build out and mature our cloud and systems setup. Interesting devops challenges like introducing IaC from scratch for an already production grade environment without downtime.
  • Help with System Design: participate in designing and implementing systems, and optimize current ones for performance and cost efficiency
  • Bring your best practices: champion software development standards, testing methodologies, and efficient development processes
  • Strategic vision: participate in defining project roadmaps, contribute to risk assessment and execution, and ensure quality and on-time delivery
  • Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional product teams to understand and translate requirements into solutions

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Practical devops engineering experience, preferably across companies at different stages
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Experience with IaC
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP-based API consumption
  • Deep system design experience with a focus on scalability and performance

  • Excellent mentorship and communication skills
